Use the captions already provided by Telemundo
The extension reads Telemundo's timed WebVTT captions and keeps the original Spanish line synchronized with its translation. It does not transcribe videos that have no caption file.
Telemundo content is primarily available in the United States. A video may still be unavailable when you travel or watch from another region.
Set up Telemundo subtitles
- Install Spanish Dual Subtitles from the Chrome Web Store.
- Open a supported video on Telemundo.com.
- Choose English or another translation language in the extension sidebar.
- Watch with the Spanish and translated lines together.
Look up words without leaving the video
Hover over a Spanish subtitle word for a quick translation. Click the word to open its Spanish meaning, examples, and available pronunciation information.
Frequently asked questions
Does it work on every Telemundo video?+
It works when Telemundo provides an accessible Spanish WebVTT caption file. Short clips and region-restricted videos may behave differently.
Can I add English subtitles to Telemundo?+
Yes. Choose English as the target language and the extension displays it with the original Spanish captions.
Can I use Telemundo outside the United States?+
The extension can read supported captions, but Telemundo controls video availability. Some videos cannot play outside the United States.
