Set up RTVE Play subtitles
- Install Spanish Dual Subtitles from the Chrome Web Store.
- Open a video on RTVE Play that has an available Spanish subtitle track.
- Open the extension sidebar and choose English or another translation language.
- Keep the Spanish and translated subtitle lines visible while the video plays.
How the extension works with the RTVE Play player
On supported videos, the extension reads the Spanish WebVTT subtitle track exposed by the RTVE Play player. It uses the original cue timing to display the Spanish line and its translation together.
The extension does not add source captions to a video that has none. Subtitle availability depends on the program and the RTVE Play player.
